Sunday, September 20, 3-5PM, $65: Flower Pounding (Tataki-zome)— Participants will receive one specially pretreated bandana, on which they will use a hammer to imprint the pigments from fresh, locally grown flowers and leaves, preserving the beauty of the botanicals on fabric. I’ll explain the process and guide them through the exciting chemistry of color-changing natural pigments.
